• Alas, the website for Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds appears to have gone away again. I'm considering mirroring that site on my own, as well as the site for the radio broadcast that went away several years ago.
• However, the new production by Pendragon Pictures of another War of the Worlds movie has prompted me to add a link to their site on The Movies pages.

• The link to avimall.com from The Series Guides page has been dropped as apparently the domain is now in the hands of Internet pornographers based in Russia. My thanks to TANHORSE for discovering this and reporting it to me. The site formerly held an episode guide for War of the Worlds run by Donna Rae LeMaster.

• A new mailing list has been set up for discussion of the War of the Worlds TV series and related topics. Information is available on the Series Sites page along with the archive of the discussion from another list active during the original run of the series.

• Discovering that the TV series War of the Worlds is currently reaching the end of the first season run on Canada's SHOWCASE channel, I rushed to get schedule information up on the site. Wonderfully, that channel's web pages include an online schedule for the series, including episode titles. Now if we could only get it back on in the US, and closed captioned like it is there. Any Canadian readers out there?

• Updates to The Movies page regarding the close of voting on The Sci-Fi Channel's U Pick 'Em Awards regarding the movie The Night That Panicked America. It is unknown if there will be prior announcement of winners before their scheduled presentation dates. If it won, it will be shown twice on Wednesday evening, March 26, 1997.

• The Sci-Fi Channel has nominated "The Night that Panicked America" for the category Wildest Invasion in their U Pick 'Em Awards. Voting ends March 14th and is held on the Sci-Fi Channel's Dominion website. If it wins, it will be shown on Wednesday, March 26, 1997 on the Sci-Fi Channel (US). More on The Movies page.
